I'm not sure what my sound card is as I got this computer three years ago and have never really looked into that, but I will look into that after this. Guitarhacker: I tried switching to MME and I still got no sound. I desparately need to figure this out, as I need to have a recording done by the end of this semester (December 14th). I have looked through all the forums before and have tried everything that has been said - I have checked 'always resample 44.1kHz 48kHz' and have made sure that it was not exclusive. There is no playback when I use ASIO4ALL, and when I check the panel, 'HD Audio Headphone/Speakers' and 'Out: 2x 44.1-192kHz, 24Bits' are marked as unavailable, and they both say 'In use by another application?' and 'MS GS wavetable synth enabled?' I have hit the road block again, and now ASIO4ALL is getting in the way of my recording. Recently I have been trying to record using Music Creator, and I have been using pre-recorded drums from toontrack EZdrummer.
I would go back to the original sound driver, but it seems that whenever I try to do this they also do not work.
I installed Music Creator 5 a few years ago but have not used it much due to problems with my ASIO4ALL driver.
